This week, The Pig is mostly…
…taking a welcome break from the hip coffee house format that dominates the Bath cafe society agenda by making the very most of one of the Heritage City’s longest-running institutions. For reasons which can’t be revealed at this stage, Sally Lunn’s is set to start seriously trending this summer; be amongst the first Piglet on the bandwagon and rediscover it now.
…stylishly celebrating the point where food and fashion meet at Bath In Fashion shebang (from now until Sunday 21 April). Highlights for The Pig include the Secret Tea Party at the Guildhall on the final day: an exclusive event organised by vintage glamour girl Mrs Stokes, set to incorporate lots of fizz and a top-notch afternoon tea.
…getting in the picnic mood by planning to take one away from the gorgeous Indulgence Cafe on Bathwick Street when the time is right. So what if the weather isn’t quite complying with plans yet? The amazing patisserie selection here is a ray of sunshine, regardless of what’s going on outside.
…eagerly anticipating (already!) a return visit to Bath for acclaimed Elvis impersonator Marshall King who will be appearing at the Eastern Eye for one night only on Tuesday 14 May. Curry and the King! What’s not to love?
…lovin’ the ‘all systems go’ vibe at Pig HQ, with both the new Bath Cafes section and a whole new raft of Bristol restaurant listings (yes, Bristol! You know, that little city just down t’road?) almost ready to be revealed – when the time is right, you’ll hear all about it here first.Categorised in: News
