This week, The Pig is mostly…
Diving into the rather luscious Independent Spirit events calendar with gusto: consider Beer and Tea Cocktails on Friday 22 August, a Highlands and Islands whisky tasting on Friday 5 September and the return of Tequila on Friday 19 September. Hic!
Eagerly anticipating experiencing an exceedingly stylish taste of park life at Homewood Park’s Party in the Park on Sunday 31 August. Expect an upper-crust barbecue courtesy of the HP chefs, refreshments provided by the Bath Gin Company and all manner of entertainment for all ages, including luxury pampering opportunities for the grown ups. Tickets cost just £5pp (discounts/freebies for under-10s) and all proceeds go to local charity Three Ways School
Already planning on eating all the pies at the Inn at Freshford‘s Pie-Fest 2: “The Revenge of the Short Crust” on Saturday 13 September, which also brings the return of Somerset’s only Man vs Pie event back to one of The Pig’s very favourite country pubs. Hoorah!
Making the most of Picnic Coffee‘s delicious August evening offer: a free Charcuterie Platter with every large glass of wine between 6-9pm on any Thursday-Saturday evening until the end of August. Yay!
