This week, The Pig is mostly…

Absolutely delighted that the first Pig Guide Supper Club at the Elder Rooms last Thursday evening went so well: fabulous food, lovely guests, good times all round – yay! Lovin’ the results of the refurb that’s been going on behind the scaffolding at the Royal Crescent Hotel: The Montagu Bar is a total glamorama hotspot, the creepy wall-of-moss thing that used to weird-out diners in the restaurant has gone for good and head chef David Campbell has done amazing things to the menu. Good work, all!

Eagerly anticipating chowing down at Bath Literature Festival sponsor the Abbey Hotel’s Literary Lunches at the Allium Brasserie during the forthcoming Bath Literature Festival bookworm bash – that’ll be lunch with Matthew Fort and James Pembroke on Wednesday 5 March, ‘Dinner with Mr Darcy’ on Friday 7 March followed by dinner with Mark Hix on the same evening and ‘Cooking at Home’ with Sophie Waugh on Sunday 9 March; book today, Piglets!
