The Olive Tree branches out

As sad as it is to wave goodbye to superchef Nick Brodie (who, during his years at the helm in the Olive Tree kitchen, earned the restaurant 3 AA Rosettes and an illustrious reputation for excellence), The Pig can’t help but get excited about the big news that’s just hit the Heritage City foodie grapevine.

New Olive Tree Head Chef Chris Cleghorn honed his skills as the protégé of a trio of world-renowned Michelin Starred chefs – none other than Heston Blumenthal, Michael Caines and Adam Simmonds – and has drawn his influences from these culinary masters to create his own exciting style in his brand new hob God role. “The Olive Tree is a beautiful restaurant in an amazing hotel and city, serving excellent food,” says Chris. “The challenge for me is to take it to the next level and establish the restaurant as Bath’s finest;  I just can’t wait to get started.” And The Pig can’t wait to get a taste of Chris soon.
