The new-look Boater reopens Friday 25 April

Friday 25 April: save the date, Piggies! Because that’s when the new-look Boater on Argyle Street reopens its doors to the public. Having already waved their magic wands over both the characterful Crystal Palace and the historic Huntsman pubs, independent family-run brewery Fuller, Smith and Turner’s latest big reveal is another handsome Great Bath Institution, established way back in 1809 but pretty much generally overlooked in recent years. Featuring a totally transformed alfresco terrace overlooking the weir, an atmospheric cellar bar designed to host live music, comedy, cabaret and late-night grazing opportunities (with a specially commissioned, bespoke artwork by renowned local graffiti artist Felix Braun adorning the wall) and a choice of dining areas to suit every occasion including an intimate supper room on the first floor, the new-look Boater is all ready to become the new Bath merrymaking HQ. Meanwhile, on the all-important food and drink front, the modern English menus look set to be fashionably fabulous, while the bar will offer a range of guest beers and ciders from local artisan breweries alongside the full-on Fullers selection and plenty of luscious wines.
