The Great Bath Feast Ambassador’s Dinner, Wednesday 27 September

As you can’t possibly have failed to notice, The Pig Guide are proud to be the official Brand Ambassadors for this year’s Great Bath Feast – and it’s proved to be a very exciting role indeed. All manner of events, promotions, parties and get-togethers are already trending on the What’s On section of the Great Bath Feast website and, as you read these words, a programme detailing a full menu of GBF delights is set to go press in readiness to be distributed across the city (there’ll be 10,000 of them floating around – be sure to grab one as soon as you can!). And is there a Pig Guide party in the programme pipeline? Or course there is!

In recognition of superchef Dan Moon’s culinary flair and soaring popularity, the Gainsborough Bath Spa recently unveiled a dining experience named in honour of the man himself. And so, on Wednesday 27 September, we’re offering a limited number of piggies the opportunity to join us to celebrate the launch of Dan Moon at the Gainsborough Restaurant at the Great Bath Feast Ambassadors Dinner, which we’ll enjoy in the intimate surroundings of the private dining area within the hotel’s restaurant.

Tickets for this unique event cost just £59pp to include a welcome drink and canapés on arrival, a 6-course feast and all manner of cheffy ‘surprises’ (plus, of course, a special meet’n’greet appearance from Dan himself). Fancy the perfect tipple to accompany the perfect food? Upgrade to a £90 ticket and a Wine Flight will be included. Full menu details will be announced shortly, and all dishes can be adapted to suit vegetarian/gluten free requests, but be warned: from what we learned last time we hosted a Pig Guide Supper Club in collaboration with the Gainsborough, this very special, sociable event is set to sell out fast – email melissa@thepigguide.com for further information and/or to book your place today; the Ambassadors are ready and waiting to hear from you.

Daniel Moon was featured as a Food Hero in the May 2016 issue of the Bath Magazine; read the full story here.
