Tasty traders announced for Kingsmead Square Festive Street Food Market
Kingsmead Square will play host to a vibrant street food market this festive season, taking place every Friday and Saturday from 24 November-9 December and showcasing the very best in street food from across the South West. And the tasty traders who will be participating in the festive food frenzy have now been announced…
The tantalising lineup introduces some of the fabulous food folk currently making waves on the Bristol street food scene to Bath, including Ah Ma’s Dumplings (Cantonese dumplings and noodle broth), South Street Kitchen (soft shell crab and crispy chilli squid), Low’n’Slow (slow cooked barbecued meats), Pickled Brisket (salt beef sandwiches) and Alp Mac (Alpine style mac’n’cheese, pictured) alongside British street food award winners Seadog from Devon, the Soviet Kitchen, Raclette Raclette and and freshly prepared wood fired pizza from Wood Chop Pizza. Meanwhile, Bath Organic Farm, La Bonne Crepe, Mission Burrito, Hoba Kebab, Medianoche Sandwich, Doughballers Pizza and Underdogs will serve up an assortment of tastebud tinglers, further supplemented by festive cakes and breads from Bordeaux Quay Bakery and Layers of Joy.
The Festive Street Food Market will, of course, complement the fantastic array of food and drink already on offer at Kingsmead Square from businesses including the Society Café, the Bath Coffee Co, the Dark Horse and Boston Tea Party, resulting in a bustling buffet of global flavours for visitors to indulge in while, of course, sipping mulled wine or cider and listening to live festive music – a great way to refuel before or after visiting some of Kingsmead Square’s fantastic independent retailers and exploring the Bath Christmas Market, which dominates Bath city centre from Thursday 23 November-Sunday 10 December. Jingle all the way!
