Tasty Tourism

As we band of merry Piglets know, you don’t have to be a tourist to make the most of our fair city. But now and then, some of the activities that Heritage City tourism experts are keen to promote offer broad appeals to long-established Bath residents as well as those vital visitors – and this little bulletin highlights one particular case in point.

Those lovely people at Experience Bath are offering access to fun-fuelled short classes at an established Cookery School in the city centre, taught by highly experienced chefs in a fully-equipped, light and airy kitchen with stunning views over the river and Bath Abbey. Fancy making your own Bath Bun, rustling up a full-on posh afternoon tea or indulging in a girly frolic (perfect for Hen parties) involving themed cookies and and bubbly Bellini? Visit EB’s Activities page and get clicking! Classes last around 2 hours and are available by prior booking only to parties of 8 or more. Longer (half- and full-day) courses involve more complex British vegetarian dishes and access to separate dining/meeting room facilities make the packages ideal for corporate use or uplifting team-building experience.

Go local: visit Bath!
