This time last year, Bath resident Chris Bell seized upon a fundraising idea which combined two of his favourite pastimes: cookery and theatre. One year later, and the Theatre Royal Bath Tasty Recipe Book was born, beautifully illustrated by local artist Elizabeth Parry-Williams, and featuring a selection of favourite recipes from a host of stars from the world of stage and screen including a recipe for Fish Pie contributed by the Theatre Royal’s Patron HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, David Suchet’s Barbecued Leg of Lamb, Stephanie Cole’s Cut and Come Again Cake, June Whitfield’s Chicken in Cider, Joanna Lumley’s Pear and Butternut Squash Soup and Carol Vorderman’s Chestnut and Vegetable Burgers. Meanwhile, recipes by local celebrity chefs include contributions from Martin Blunos, Michael Caines and the Thoughtful Bread Company, and there are plenty of treats from Theatre Royal staff, friends and the fundraising committee, too.
Get your (oven) mitts on the Tasty Recipe Book at the Theatre Royal Box Office, by mail order from Chris Bell c/o Theatre Royal Bath, via firstname.lastname@example.org and at selected outlets in Bath (£12.50).Categorised in: News
