Taste of Bath Crate Your Own service/open day
Bath’s ‘Queen of Good Taste’ Helen Rich – head honcho of specialist hamper service Taste of Bath – has recently launched a brand new ‘Crate Your Own’ service, allowing customers to make up their own, bespoke collection of Bath’s finest foods, select personal favourites and/or create personalised gifts according to their own budgets. Crates start from £20, and the pick’n’mix range of available produce to select from has expanded too, with new local suppliers including Bath Gin, Somerset Hot Sauce and Fox Gourmet Foods joining existing artisan companies such as Honey’s Midford Cider, Round Hill Roastery and Bath Soft Cheese under the ToB banner, resulting in an ever-expanding umbrella of local talent. Fancy meeting the team? Helen/Taste of Bath is inviting Bathonians to come and taste the very best local artisan produce at a very special event hosted by the Electric Bear Brewery on Wednesday 16 March. All the Taste of Bath producers will be in attendance to offer samples and generally merrily mingle with the city’s most tasteful food fans, who will also be able to purchase goodies directly from the suppliers while they’re there… and take their swag home in a beautiful Taste of Bath crate, perhaps?
