Sunday Lunch at Bailbrook House: big Pig Guide offer

Spring is here and summer is on the way. But that doesn’t mean we have to consider giving up on certain ‘seasonal’ traditions such as Sunday Lunch, for example… especially not when one has the option of enjoying a contempo-trad blowout in a stylish, bright and airy conservatory that offers instant access to a rather splendid alfresco terrace which, by turn, offers views over a collection of beautifully manicured lawns and acres of rolling countryside beyond. Commencing this Sunday 30 April, BH’s Sunday Lunch menu will include starters of chicken liver pâté served with sourdough or John Ross smoked salmon with capers and crème fraîche; main course roasts of either topside of Wiltshire beef, loin of Somerset pork or leg of Somerset lamb (all, of course, served with all the necessary trimmings); a spiffing veggie option, and desserts such as strawberries and cream, hot fudge sundae (highly recommended!) or a local cheese platter. Stand-alone roasts are charged at just £16pp (and trust us when we tell you that portions are substantial, to say the least), but if you call BH on 01225 855100 to make a Sunday Lunch booking and say the magic words “Pig Guide Sunday Lunch Offer,” you’ll earn yourself two roasts for the price of one – yup, that’s just £8pp for what has to be one of the most rollickin’ roasts in town.
