Sipsmith Gin Master Dinner at the Royal Crescent Hotel, Thursday 19 October
Gin: it’s the top tipple that’s never gone out of fashion since it was first licensed for sale in Britain in 1729. Today, what Sipsmith Gin don’t know about the tipple described by the OED as “a neutral grain spirit re-distilled with botanicals, with a predominant juniper flavour” simply isn’t worth knowing. In recognition of our fondness for the delicious botanical spirit, RCH Head Chef David Campbell (a masterchef who we’re rather fond of, to say the least – read our most recent review of his work here) has created an amazing 5-course menu to perfectly partner a variety of Sipsmith Gins including their sublimely sippable London Cup Spritz and their modern day classic, Bramble Gin. Starting with welcome drinks and canapés at 7pm before dinner in the RCH’s Dower House Restaurant, this tantalising voyage of flavour discovery will include an insightful masterclass from the Sipsmith Gin geniuses themselves before guests experience a whole new dimension where gin and gastronomy come together in perfect harmony.
