Sipsmith & Fever-Tree tasting & feast at the huntsman, wednesday 29 june
The London-based distillery Sipsmith is home to a fabulous selection of handcrafted, small-batch, artisan spirits (most notably, gin). As many of us are already well aware, the Fever-Tree folk are all about the perfect mixer to, well, mix with your preferred tipple of choice. The Huntsman, meanwhile, is one of the nicest city centre pubs in Bath, enjoying a sturdy reputation for a welcoming, chilled-out vibe and highly-acclaimed pub feasts. Put ’em all together and what have you got? An evening with Sipsmith and Fever-Tree hosted by the Huntsman on Wednesday 29 June, when guest speakers Freddie Campbell (Sipsmith) and Lauren Hawkins-Taylor (Fever-Tree) will be on hand to talk us through five different Sipsmith/Fever-Tree pairings before we move on to indulge in a Sipsmith-infused 4-course meal to include sloe gin-cured smoked salmon, pappardelle with chorizo or sweet peppers in a spicy vodka sauce and gin and grapefruit granita served with London Cup panna cotta – cheers!
The fun starts at 7pm and the cost for this uniquely tasteful extravaganza is just £25, but be warned: tickets are strictly limited to keep things cosy, and we predict they’ll sell out very quickly indeed. To make sure you don’t miss out, call 01225 482900 to book your place today.
