Sheer Indulgence

Summer is well and truly here, and the time is well and truly right for… a picnic in the park. But not just any old picnic in any old park will do. So what about an Indulgent (every pun intended) alfresco feast in Sydney Gardens, established in 1790 and today one of only a tiny handful of remaining 18th century ‘Pleasure Gardens’ in the UK. Sound good? Indeed! And the Indulgence Cafe on Bathwick Street (just a short summery stroll away from the Holburne Museum and that glorious park itself) has everything you need to max out on the whole experience, from super sarnies and terrific tarts to legendary homemade cakes and more, all available either on a whim or to pre-order,

But if you prefer to take your afternoon tea experience indoors, there are several luscious options to consider on the IC afternoon tea menu, including sparkling Champagne Tea packages and themed menus especially designed for celebratory groups (see here for further information; booking essential). Elsewhere, Indulgence head honcho Kath is busy baking those scrumptious custom made cakes for businesses and other cafes in town, while The Pig can personally recommend her outside catering service: to say that Kath can rustle up the perfect party feast-for-all, whatever the occasion or budget, would be an understatement – we’re talking sheer indulgence indeed.
