offers users an A-list, no-queue, fast-track experience

According to a flurry of recent online lifestyle surveys, the average Brit spends around 18 hours a year waiting their turn in a coffee shop queue – that’s 18 whole lunch hours a year spent waiting to pick up your lunch. Oh, if only it didn’t have to be this way… oh, but hang on: it doesn’t!

The brainchild of nifty entrepreneurial founder and CEO Tom Dewhurst, Ordoo was developed from the University of Bath Innovation Centre earlier this year and launched in Bristol in April before coming to Bath a couple of months ago. Basically, this smart, simple-to-use “digital gateway” allows us to order and pay in advance at some of our favourite coffee shops, lunch shops, bars and events courtesy of a spot of clever app-wielding, thereby offering users an A-list, no-queue, fast-track experience. Meanwhile, on the other side of the counter, the innovative ‘touch & collect’ platform enables venues and businesses to process more orders during busy periods by alleviating the traditional order/payment processes. Some of The Pig Guide’s favourite independent businesses including the Bath Pizza Co, Green Park Express, Beyond the Kale and the Whole Bagel are already on board-oo with Ordoo, so what are you waiting for? Get with the Ordoo programme – and if you sign up today, you earn £3 off your first transaction.

Bye bye, queues! Can’t say we’re going to miss you…
