Party on with Electric Bear Brewing Co, Saturday 10 September

It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since the Electric Bear Brewing Co blessed the people of Bath with their very own craft brewery and tap room. Since totally reinvigorating the site of a former Maltings on Brassmill Lane in August 2015, the company have produced over 200,000 pints of beer (from a range of more than 25 labels), employed six full time staff, hosted multiple regular events, won 3 prestigious beer awards and gained outlets for their wares across the country. “We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed with the support we’ve received from the local community, pubs and retailers since we first opened,” says company founder Chris Lewis. “The past year has been incredibly hard work, but hearing the way people talk about the brewery as part of their lives makes it all worth it.”

It you, like us, believe that all this good news is something to celebrate indeed, join us at Electric Bear Brewing Co’s first Birthday Party at EBBC HQ on Saturday 10 September from 2-11pm. There’ll be games for the children (including a penalty shoot out), a Charity Cake Sale and, of course, lashings of craft beer including a special birthday brew created by head brewer Guillermo Alvarez and plenty of the popular Cherry Blackout, both exclusively available at the event. Come on, Piggies; it’s time for bear hugs all round.
