Party on! The Great Bath Feast 2017 starts here
If you couldn’t make the Great Bath Feast launch party so elegantly hosted by the lovely Clifton Sausage folk last night, don’t despair! Although you may indeed have missed an absolutely gorgeous event (it was SO heartwarming to meet so many businesses keen to sign up for this year’s feasting fun), there’s plenty of time for you to make your mark on this year’s celebration of all-things-foodie in Bath.
Celebrating its fifth birthday by offering a super-enhanced menu of events for 2017, the Great Bath Feast brings together the best of Bath’s food and drink retailers from restaurants, pubs, cookery schools and cafés to local suppliers, producers and the people who keep tasteful tongues wagging in the city… and, as official Brand Ambassadors, The Pig Guide is delighted to be at the forefront of the engagement action.
You’ll find all manner of suggestions for how to get involved, a full explanation regarding how the engagement procedure works and the full Engagement Pack here, and the online GBF17 Participation Form here. As you’ll see, you can host an event or run a promotion which is unique and different from your current offering, offer a themed Great Bath Feast menu, participate in one of the many GBF17 promotions – or do it all, and everything! Brand new initiatives introduced this year include the Tapas Trail (an ‘edible walking tour’ of Bath’s lively pubs, bars and restaurants, sampling mini treats and tasters – half a pint of locally-brewed craft beer? A tapas dish? A bar snack? – that best represents each business’s vibe/experience as participants make their way around the city) and the Tenner Treat: light Lunch with a drink for a tenner? Tea for Two for a tenner? One amazing cocktail and a canapé to match for a tenner? The possibilities are endless, and what you offer is entirely up to you. As for us, we’ll be hosting our own Very Special Pig Guide GBF17 event, details of which will be revealed soon. But right now, this is all about you! We really look forward to hearing from you…. party ON, Piggies!
