Newton Farm Supper Club celebratory feast, Friday 10 June

The Pig Guide would like to take the opportunity to wish Newton Farm (situated in super-pretty pastoral surroundings just off the A4 heading towards Bristol, just off the Globe Pub roundabout) hearty congratulations on the first anniversary of their popular Supper Club events. Will they be partying down on the farm? Of course! And we’re all invited to join the fun.

On Friday 10 June, Newton Farm chef Giles Sampson will be pulling out all the stops and working some of his wizardry to create six celebratory courses wrought from his trademark ingredients of top notch, locally/regionally sourced seasonal produce, resulting in a fabulous birthday party feast to include dishes such as asparagus spears, ewes curd and Coppa ham tart served with sorrel and watercress, Cornish crab bisque, Woolley Park duck with cherries, crackling, truffle oil mash and buttered summer greens and Cheddar strawberries served with Pimms jelly, gooseberry and lime fool and vanilla shortbread – yum!
