News just in! Party on all summer at Abbey Hotel's Food Fiesta
News has just hit the Pig Guide HQ inbox regarding the amazing events in the pipeline at the Abbey Hotel/Allium Restaurant and Artbar this summer. Not only will Allium head chef Chris Staines be showcasing a monthly-changing, globally-themed terrace menu as we move through the season, but a whole raft of amazing events, offers and parties are set to keep attention levels up as the hotel’s Food Fiesta swings along.
The first of the new Terrace Menus will be launched this weekend, and the rest of May will be punctuated by a rare whisky tasting hosted by Independent Spirit in the hotel’s ArtBar on Thursday 19 May and live acoustic music from the Bath Independent Music Festival with an afterparty in the hotel’s Igloo Bar to celebrate Party in the City the following evening (Friday 20 May). In June, dive into the Quinta Do Crasto Wine Dinner (Wednesday 1 June), a very special Supper Club hosted by Chris Staines and chef/author Nina Parker on Tuesday 7 June, a unique take on Father’s Day Sunday lunch on Sunday 19 June, an exclusive Terrace Party hosted by Ridgeview Sparkling Wine on Wednesday 22 June, and – ta-daa! – MasterChef winner Ping Coombes one-day Allium Restaurant takeover on Thursday 23 June.
On from there, July will be all about the ‘alternative beach party’ vibe, August brings Carnival Fever to Bath and in September, we’re all invited to participate in both Tour of Britain and Jane Austen Festival events in the Abbey Hotel’s wholly unique style. But trust us when we tell you, Piggies, that the details we’ve highlighted here represent the mere tip of iceberg – keep an eye on our news pages, Bath Chronicle columns and Twitter feed for more exciting details over the coming days/weeks/months to be kept up to date with the coolest chill-out news from one of Bath’s hottest summertime hotspots.
