News from The Inn at Freshford: Moules et Frites Tuesdays, live music… and bugs!
Moules et frites, mussels and chips, bivalve molluscs and fried potato batons – you can call this enduringly popular, classic combination whatever you choose to call it and it’ll still taste as good. Get yourself along to the Inn at Freshford every/any Tuesday evening from 30 April, and enjoy mussels, fries and a drink (half pint San Miguel, half pint house ale, half pint Thatcher’s Gold, 125ml house wine, lemonade or cola) for just £13 between 5-9pm.
Elsewhere on the events menu at this glorious slice of pastoral paradise, dynamic folk/blues ensemble Lewis Clark and The Essentials will be performing live on both Bank Holiday Sunday (26 May) and Father’s Day (16 June) afternoons… and the pub’s very own Bug Hotel is buzzing with Tawny Mining Bees (but don’t worry, they’re far more interested in buzzing around their own little habitat than they are in socialising with you.)
