New Table d’Hote menu at The Kilted Chef

The Pig urges you to make the very most of the bargain-priced early evening Table d’Hote menu recently introduced at The Kilted Chef. Our table of revellers pigged out on a mighty feast that included options such as proper Cullen Skink, roasted scallop and Caboc crème brûlée, fondant pheasant, Edinburgh Fog (yes, really) and a Crowdie Tartlet for the bargain price of just £24.95 for 3 courses – och aye the yay! Meanwhile, should you choose to take a taste of Head Chef Dougie Bonar’s indisputable skills to yet another dimension altogether, his Tasting Menus (from £65 for a full-on 6 courses, each to include an expertly-matched tipple) are reet bonny to behold. Dougie: you’re delicious!
