Master of Wine Kate McIntyre to host Moorooduc Estate Wine Tasting at Le Vignoble, Friday 31 August
On Friday 31 August, guests will sit back and enjoy a talk from Master of Wine Kate McIntyre followed by a tasting of Moorooduc Estate wines to include the Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Single Vineyard Pinot Noir and Single Vineyard Syrah.
Established in 1982 by Kate’s parents Richard and Jill McIntyre, Moorooduc Estate is a small, family run wine vineyard located within the Mornington Peninsula region. Today, the Estate enjoys an enviable reputation for complex and food-friendly wines. Kate McIntyre started working for the family business in 2004 and completed her Master of Wine examination – the most respected title in the world of wine, recognised across the globe for its rigour and high standards – in 2010. As well as helping with the winemaking, marketing and business development for Moorooduc Estate, Kate also writes, teaches and talks about wine.
“The opportunity to attend a wine tasting hosted by a master of wine really doesn’t come around often, and we’re so excited to be teaming up with Moorooduc Estate – guests will be in for a real treat,” says Le Vignoble owner Yannick Loué, who has been hosting winemaker events for six years. “Moorooduc Estate wines are truly exceptional and typical of the Mornington Peninsula. With their niche combination of spice and freshness, they’re a great example of quality wines we’re proud to have on our shelves.”
Tickets to what’s guaranteed to be a truly memorable, unique event cost £20pp, to include £10 returned on your Le Vignoble card. Be warned, though: space is strictly limited, and tickets will sell out quickly – click here for further information.Categorised in: News
