Make Father's Day at the Abbey Hotel's Allium Restaurant
This Father’s Day (Sunday 19 June), those good folk at the Abbey Hotel are putting dads right where they belong: in the spotlight at the head of the table for the rather spectacular ‘traditional-but-not-traditional’ special Sunday lunch event at the hotel’s Allium Restaurant.
Fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, foster dads, like-a-dads, two-dads, dads-to-be: grab your father figure(s) of choice and celebrate the man/men in your life by treating them to a table-carved roast dinner the like (and magnitude!) of which you’re unlikely to have encountered before, preceded by a selection of head chef Chris Staines’ inimitable starters including black pudding hash with fried duck egg or salt and pepper squid with Sriracha chilli mayo, while the pudding selection includes treacle tart with whisky ice cream and – ta-daa! – Black Forest Gateau. If the main event roasts (chicken or beef) ain’t your thang, you could opt for fish and chips, Korean chicken burger or ricotta and basil gnocchi, and there’ll be all manner of little twisty-turny surprises to make your memorable day complete. And there’s yet more good news to share…
Family Ticket Deals make the whole event an affordable treat for all: 4 adults eat for £115, 3 for £85, 2 for £60 and one adult for just £32; meanwhile, kids under the age of 9 years old eat for free, regardless of how many little ones there might be in your clan. But be warned: this event is set to sell-out fast; clickety-click right here double-quick to make that all-important reservation, and tell dad to save the date today!Categorised in: News
