LUX Supper Club: Showcase Menu at Chez Dominique, Wednesday 7 June
LUX Rewards – the super-smart app that we described as “an exciting innovation, a totally unique concept and an effortlessly simple way to add a bit of lux to your life” – is launching its very first Supper Club at LUX (and Pig Guide!) member restaurant Chez Dominique on Wednesday 7 June.
Christopher Tabbit, head chef of the gorgeous modern French bistro on Argyle Street, has carefully crafted a 3-course showcase menu to include très bon starters such as Dorset crab teamed with pickled radish and dill salad, crab cake and apple purée, or artichokes à la Barigoule with grilled sourdough, heritage tomatoes and saffron aïoli, giving way to marvellous main course options including rack and breast of lamb, broad bean purée and truffle oil, or goats’ curd ravioli, grilled Wye Valley asparagus and sauce Vierge. The menu costs just £39.50 to include an aperitif – or, you have the option of upgrading the experience to include a wine flight introduced by introduction by Russ Prior of Chez Dom’s wine supplier Bablake Wines for an extra £20pp. And here’s the extra-added bonus that livens up an already super-sweet deal: LUX members will receive 10,000 complimentary points (which would usually cost us a spend of £200 to earn!) just for joining the Supper Club fun – how luxurious is that?
