Kingsmead Square Christmas Market, Saturday 13 December

The Pig is delighted to announce that Kingsmead Square traders are hosting a Mini Christmas Market on Saturday 13 December between 11am-4pm. Expect to browse a vibrant selection of locally made arts and crafts, original Christmas gifts and lots of luscious local produce, while the square’s cool cafes will warm shoppers up with festive treats including mulled wine from the Jazz Cafe, cinnamon and nutmeg hot chocolate courtesy of the Society Cafe and sweet and savoury crepes at the Bath Coffee Company. As the market draws to a close, St Michael’s Church Choir will serenade revellers with Christmas tunes under the fairy lights draped around the London Plane Tree at the epicentre of the square, and donations will be collected for the RUH Forever Friends Appeal. The Pig offers hearty congratulations to Emma Savage, owner of the innovative Grace and Ted boutique (10 Kingsmead Square), for organising what’s set to be a properly lovely, truly local event. Hoorah!
