Kids eat for free at Giggling Squid for SongKran Thai New Year Celebrations, Saturday 13-Tuesday 16 April

Giggling Squid will be awash with bright, bold colours and floral patterns this April as the family favourite in staggeringly good Thai food celebrates SongKran, aka Thai New Year.

Between 12noon-5pm from Saturday 13-Tuesday 16 April, 12pm, children dressed in floral patterns will eat for free* when they choose two dishes from the Little Tapas for Little People menu bursting with a selection of Giggling Squid favourites from mild curries and noodles to rice dishes and finger food – perfect for the littlest of hands – plus a drink and a dessert. Accompanying adults will be spoilt for choice with the renowned Giggling Squid Thai tapas lunch menu which offers an array of small plates such as the signature Salt and Pepper Squid, Sleeping Honey Duck, Lime and Chilli Beef and Papaya Salad. There’s also a range of super-popular tapas Tasting Sets on offer (£9.95 and £11.95), each with a selection of four carefully-curated dish combinations – choose from the Hungry Squid, the Wealthy Squid or Two Giggling Squids. Meanwhile, the two-dish meal combi, priced from £7.95-£9.95, offers fantastic value for lunchtime guests – browse all the menus, in all their full glory, here.

Throughout the SongKran festivities, post a photo of your clan in their floral assemble, (complete with optional floral face-paint if you’re feeling particularly creative), include the handle @gigglingsquid and the hashtag #SongkranGiggles to be in with a chance to win a £100 voucher.

And just to bring further enticing colour to proceedings: all customers visiting Giggling Squid on the first day of festivities will receive a flower as part of a ceremonial Songkran blessing. Sa was dee pee mai, Piggies!

*One complimentary kids’ meal (inclusive of drink and dessert) per one paying adult between 12pm-5pm on the dates stated. Free child meal applicable for children up to 12 years old
