Home(wood) is where the heart is

The Pig is really looking forward to a forthcoming dinner at Tides Restaurant, the gourmet oasis at the heart of the glamorous, luxurious Homewood Park Hotel, where head chef Daniel Maudsley has earned himself an illustrious reputation for his wonderful ways with local, seasonal produce. A full Pig review will of course follow our visit but for now, we’ve discovered a handful of tasty events and offers at HP that just wouldn’t be fair not to share.

First up, the Acoustic Sunday Lunch (featuring music courtesy of Katie Francesca) for the all-inclusive price of just £28.50pp. A couple of weeks later (Saturday 15 June), £70pp gets you refreshments on arrival followed by the unique opportunity to meander around the glorious hotel gardens sketching, drawing or painting as you go and a sumptuous Champagne Afternoon Tea before you leave. Meanwhile, everybody who books a 2/3-course a la carte lunch at Tides on any Monday-Saturday until the end of June will receive two main courses for the price of one, and Classic Afternoon Teas are currently on offer at 2 for £29, representing a saving of £10 off the standard price. Advance booking for all events/offers is essential to avoid disappointment. Do it now!
