Hartley Farm Christmas Fayre, Saturday 26 November
Feeling festive, Piggies? If not, we’ve got a little bit of news to help get the party started.
Hartley Farm (just up t’road in Winsley, nr. Bradford on Avon) are hosting a Christmas Fayre on Saturday 26 November which is all set to launch the start of the sparkly season in fine style. Expect food demonstrations from Hartley Farm head chef and butcher Gary, who will be revealing some of his best-kept secrets such as how to crown a turkey and stuff the legs at 11am followed by a special appearance from Henry Herbert (one half of The Fabulous Baker Brothers duo) an hour later, after which you’ll know all you need to know about Christmas feasting. There’ll be live music from 1pm courtesy of a saxophone quartet and a choir, while a local producers’ market, food from the farm’s Big Green Egg barbecue and a pop-up bar serving warming, festive tipples guarantee to keep attention levels up all day long.
