Foraged Bathtub Gin Workshop at Combe Grove, Saturday 1 September
Saturday 1 September, 5.30pm: put the time and date in your diary, because it’s officially Gin O’clock at Combe Grove.
Join Lucie Cousins (aka the Fermentation Fairy, and Head Fermenter at Bath Culture House) as she introduces us to the art of infusing gin (and other tipples) with seasonal fruits, flowers and herbs to inspire your own bespoke cocktail and shares tips on how foraging can transform your gin experience.
The workshop will combine hands-on demonstrations and, of course, plenty of tasting opportunities, finishing with a refreshing gin cocktail. You can, if you so wish, make your merry way home at this point. But why would you when there’s the option of lingering long to indulge in a super-seasonal 2-course supper that brings together cured meats and naturally fermented pickles created in-house by the Combe Grove kitchen team supplemented with meat, vegetables and oils from Somerset growers and producers?
Tickets for the workshop only cost just £50 (Combe Grove members £45), or £70 (Combe Grove members £65) for the workshop and supper, but be warned: advance booking is essential – to guarantee your attendance, clickety-click on this link double-quick. Cheers, piggies!
