Dog-friendly Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Ston Easton Park, Sunday 27 March
Those friendly folk at the characterful, historic Ston Easton Park Hotel (around 11 miles/17km south of Bath; also home to the elegant Sorrel Restaurant, featuring a kitchen headed up by superchef Martin Baker) don’t believe that Easter is just for kids; they believe that adults and their four legged friends deserve to join in the fun too… and they’ve organised a very special, free-for-all event on Easter Sunday 27 March to prove their point.
Following on from the huge success of the first event of its kind last year, ‘Oscar’s Easter Eggs-Travaganza‘ – named in honour of the hotel’s very own Cocker Spaniel (who will of course be hosting the event) – will once again welcome dozens of perky pooches to the hotel’s gardens and grounds resulting in Somerset’s biggest doggy treasure hunt. Lucky Labradors, blessed Beagles, precious Poodles and many more delightful doggies will all be encouraged to join the fun, and there’ll be a whole host of treats to reward their efforts courtesy of the lovely Lily’s Kitchen, who specialise in ‘proper food for pets’. While on the subject of proper food for all, it’s also worth mentioning here that Martin Baker’s special Easter Sunday Lunch looks rather tasty too; woof woof indeed!Categorised in: News
