Coming soon: The Ivy Bath Brasserie

Excitement is building at Pig Guide HQ in advance of the arrival of The Ivy Bath Brasserie which will open its doors on Milsom Street on Wednesday 11 October.

The arrival of the Ivy Bath Brasserie follows the opening of sister-restaurant The Ivy Clifton Brasserie (which opened in August 2016 in Bristol), and will be a new addition to The Ivy Collection: a group of neighbourhood restaurants, brasseries and cafés established in London – originating with the iconic Ivy in West Street, Covent Garden – 100 years ago.

In a similar fashion to existing restaurants in the collection, The Ivy Bath Brasserie will offer accessible, all-day dining in a relaxed setting – in this instance, a beautiful Georgian building at the heart of Bath’s Milsom Quarter. The building’s refurbishment has retained the striking high ceilings and original features of the former banking hall and spans across two floors, with a bar situated on each floor. The restaurant will offer guests the opportunity to initially dine in the ground floor brasserie, with the first floor brasserie and al fresco terrace opening in spring 2018.

Open seven days a week, The Ivy Bath Brasserie will offer an all-encompassing menu courtesy of a kitchen overseen by Executive Chef Sean Burbidge, serving modern British classics from dawn until dusk, including breakfast, elevenses, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, dinner and cocktails from a bespoke drinks menu.

The Pig Guide is eagerly anticipating offering a warm welcome to this evergreen vine as soon as it’s roots are officially established.
