Bradford on Avon Food Assembly opens for business

The Pig Guide wishes every success to the Bradford on Avon Food Assembly, which officially launches on Thursday 30 March but has already opened their online market place for orders. The Assembly offers local folk the opportunity to buy food, groceries and larder essentials directly from local producers including a range of products from Fussels Fine Foods, unique handmade cakes and tarts from Morris & Mae, meat and (very pretty!) eggs from New Macdonalds Farm, Bath Farm Girls quinoa, freshly prepared ready meals from Cavendish Cooks and ‘mindful munches’ from Beth’s Bakes, aka The Free Range Chef. Simply browse the online market, place your order and pick it up from the Mount Pleasant Community Centre (BoA town centre) on Thursdays between 5.30-7pm, when you’ll also get the opportunity to meet, greet and generally mingle with the passionate producers who have helped to fill your basket. How super-tasteful (and super-convenient!) is that?
