Bradford on Avon Food and Drink Festival, Saturday 1 June

Beautiful Bradford on Avon punches well above its weight in terms of destination dining zone… and now, further reinforcing the town’s reputation as Wiltshire’s foodie HQ, it even has its very own Food Festival on Saturday 1 June.

Brought to us by the team responsible for the lovely Thame Food Festival in Oxfordshire, this one day event – taking place at Victory Fields, just a 5-minute amble from BoA railway station – promises to be a fun, foodie family day out, complete with celebrity and local chef demonstrations on the Magimix Demonstration Stage, a FestivAles Pop up Pub, tasteful shopping opportunities a-plenty courtesy of a range of carefully selected local and national Artisan and Street Food producers, a Children’s Activity Area and lots more.

MasterChef Champions Jane Devonshire and Ping Coombes, GBBO 2018 superstars Briony May and Stephen Carter Bailey, local celebrity baker Richard Bertinet and three of our loveliest local chefs (that’ll be The Longs Arms‘ Rob Allcock, Pravin Nayer from Castle Farm and Jethro Lawrence from Woolley Grange Hotel, then) will all be joining the fun… and you’d be crazy not to join them for what’s set to be one of the tastiest West Country days out this summer season.

Single adult tickets cost just £5 (buy two for £8 or three for £12,) children’s tickets cost £3, and family tickets (2 x adults plus 2 x children) are available for £13; to make the most of discounts, clickety-click right here, right now. Sign up for the festival newsletter, meanwhile, and you’ll automatically be entered into a Prize Draw for a 3200XL Magimix Food Processor worth £239.99 (prize draw ends at midnight on Monday 27 May.)
